Spend 5 nights on a 1274 Medieval Estate Brugarol, Spain . This includes a 2-night stay at Las Heras and 3-night Stay Bell Lloc for two people
This Empordà working farmstead is imbued with a philosophy rooted in the land, to leverage recent agricultural advances to enhance quality, without compromising spirit and authenticity. Within the estate are the Bell-Lloc Hermitage and the Brugarol Winery and perched at the top of a hill, is the magnificent Vila-Romà castle.
Las Heras is a wildly aristocratic place, encompassing both palatial and secluded rooms, rich in history. The combination of styles accurately reflects the long architectural history of the country, from the Middle Ages to Modernism. This imposing mansion, documented from 1274, was owned by the Heras family from 1350 until the beginning of the 21st century, when it was incorporated into the Brugarol Group.
The surrounding farmlands flourish with 300 hectares of vineyards, olive trees, holm oak forests and subsoil full of truffles. This piece of paradise is the quintessential symbiotic marriage between man and nature.
Most of the buildings are camouflaged by a leafy forest mass that thrives in the fertile soils benefiting from basaltic lava flows emanating from the Puig d’Adri volcano. The octagonal tower of the Castle however, always makes its imposing presence felt. An extraordinary place to experience.
